Tim Reilly – CEO
Tim brings more than 25 years of successful public and private experience in the high-tech industry filling key operational roles within product line business units and venture capital funded companies through all stages of growth. During his time at Zettaset, the company has successfully grown its software-defined encryption portfolio to provide a comprehensive data protection solution across all physical, virtual and cloud environments. Prior to joining Zettaset, Tim was VP Finance & Operations at Trapeze Networks, where he helped build the company into a leading provider of Wireless LAN equipment which was later acquired by Juniper Networks. Tim also served as VP Finance at Nicira, a network virtualization company (acquired by VMware), netVmg, an internet traffic optimization company (acquired by Internap) and in various financial roles at WorldxChange, a global telecom carrier. He has a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern California and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Rick Schultz – VP of Worldwide Sales
Rick is a security industry veteran who has built, scaled and led the customer facing teams in several successful growth companies. He has led organizations including Sales, Sales Engineering, Business Development and Customer Success. His experience includes leading teams in large enterprises (AT&T) and venture backed start-ups, including Postini (acquired by Google) Fox Technologies, Sensage and Kenna Security. Rick has also advised technical entrepreneurs on business planning and Go-to-Market initiatives. He holds a BS from DePaul University and an MBA from the University of San Francisco. Rick currently resides with his wife & daughters in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Eric Murray – Chief Security Architect
Eric has over 20 years of experience designing and creating cryptographic products. He’s been a core contributor to the design and creation of the entire Zettaset product portfolio and during his tenure has filed over 10 patents related to distributed and high-performance encryption. Prior to Zettaset, Eric worked at Palm on webOS where he managed incident response and designed and implemented a key management and disk encryption solution. Prior to Palm, Eric worked at Ingrian Networks (acquired by Safenet), where he was part of the team that designed and built the DataSecure Key Manager which was later rebranded to KeySecure after the acquisition by Safenet. Eric continues to be active in the cryptographic community and has been a member of various standards efforts including SSLv3, TLS1.0 and ANSI X.9.
Maksim Yankovskiy – VP Engineering
Maksim has over 20 years of experience delivering and managing enterprise encryption and database software across all the major high tech industries. During his tenure at Zettaset, he has been responsible for the engineering team that delivered the entire XCrypt product portfolio. He has also filed patents related to distributed and high-performance encryption. Prior to Zettaset, Maksim worked at Ingrian Networks (acquired by Safenet), where he was part of the team that designed and built the DataSecure Key Manager which was later rebranded to KeySecure after the acquisition by Safenet. Prior to Ingrian Networks, Maksim held various roles related to distributed database systems at Siemens Medical Solutions, Ross Stores and Adobe Systems.
Sesh Ramaswami – VP Field Engineering & Product Management
Sesh brings 30 plus years of experience in building and managing QA, Engineering Services and Program Management teams. He is currently responsible for Field Engineering and Product Management at Zettaset. Prior to his current role, Sesh managed the QA and Engineering Services team through the successful launch of multiple Zettaset XCrypt product lines. Prior to Zettaset, Sesh was Director of Engineering Services for the Cloud Services Business Unit at Blue Coat systems (acquired by Symantec). Prior to Blue Coat, Sesh served as Director of QA and Program Management at Code Green Networks (acquired by Digital Guardian) and held management roles at Nokia Enterprise Solutions for the FW/VPN products. Sesh holds a Product Management certification from UC Berkeley, an Advanced Project Management Program credential from Stanford University and has CISSP and CISM security certifications.
Melissa Tucker – VP Marketing
Melissa brings over 8 years of software and hardware experience, playing a key role in marketing to both channel solution providers and end-user customers. At Zettaset, she has developed a strong and efficient framework for building brand awareness and increased lead generation by leveraging a digital, integrated marketing methodology. Prior to joining Zettaset, Melissa was the Director of Marketing for A Fluent Vision, where she developed a fully integrated marketing strategy to increase the company’s acquisition and closed business through inbound and outbound leads. Melissa has also served as a marketing manager to Cisco channel partners. She has a BS in Finance and Management from Centenary University and currently resides in Northern New Jersey.
