Tim Reilly – CEO
Tim brings more than 25 years of successful public and private experience in the high-tech industry filling key operational roles within product line business units and venture capital funded companies through all stages of growth. During his time at Zettaset, the company has successfully grown its software-defined encryption portfolio to provide a comprehensive data protection solution across all physical, virtual and cloud environments. Prior to joining Zettaset, Tim was VP Finance & Operations at Trapeze Networks, where he helped build the company into a leading provider of Wireless LAN equipment which was later acquired by Juniper Networks. Tim also served as VP Finance at Nicira, a network virtualization company (acquired by VMware), netVmg, an internet traffic optimization company (acquired by Internap) and in various financial roles at WorldxChange, a global telecom carrier. He has a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern California and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Alan Truman – VP of Engineering
Alan brings 35 years of experience in sourcing, building and managing world-class engineering teams. Most recently, Alan was the vice president of engineering for the Cloud Services Business Unit at Blue Coat Systems, developing their Security as a Service (SaaS) product for mid-tier and enterprise customers. Prior to Blue Coat, Alan served as vice president of engineering at Ingrian Networks (acquired in April, 2008 by SafeNet), where he developed their data protection and secure key management solutions for enterprise customers. Alan was the first engineer at SynOptics/Bay Networks and also held other engineering positions at Xerox PARC, Harris Farinon and Boeing Company. Alan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Tim Dyer – VP of Worldwide Sales
Tim brings over 20 years of Sales, Partnering and Business Development Experience. Most recently Tim performed the role of Chief Revenue Officer for Guavus, the analytic division of Thales, Inc. Prior to joining Guavus Tim fulfilled executive sales positions for a number of start-ups as well as established enterprises including Ascend, Lucent, Vivace, Tellabs, Nominum, and ConteXtream. Through his career Tim has managed teams from 0-200 people, maintained revenue responsibility for $0-$800M, and has been integral to numerous successful exits.
Jeff Harrell – VP, Product & Marketing
Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and product management leadership roles, creating high-growth enterprise B2B software businesses and leading them to success. Prior to Zettaset, Jeff was VP of Marketing at Redbooth and guided the company through an acquisition. Prior to that, Jeff has been a founder or employee for 11 start ups including nCircle, Qualys, McAfee, PGP, PrivNet, and eMusic, and has participated in 7 acquisitions on both sides of the table.
