Zettaset took the virtual stage at HPE Discover and hosted a session titled, “Breach. Theft. Disaster. Protecting the Digital Transformation from Itself.” For many of you, accelerating your digital transformation adoption has become a necessity, a reality further fueled in this new enterprise landscape. DevOps best practices are a core component within any digital initiative, and as a result, Kubernetes and containers will eventually find a way into your new cloud-first strategy.
But the disbursed nature of these technologies has created new attack vectors, making enterprise environments ripe for a targeted data breach. While encryption has the ability to play a key role in securing sensitive information, general misconceptions around its ease of use and transparency still impact adoption rates. And yet, encryption remains to be the last line of defense and protects critical data in whatever environment a new technology is deployed.
Although we traded in the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip for our home offices, HPE spared no detail in making sure that it was unforgettable experience for all those who attended. Over 38,000 technology professionals from around the globe tuned in for live and on demand programs and sessions. Topics ranging from digital transformation, to hybrid cloud to data and applications were presented on by some of the best and brightest in the industry. It was truly a can’t miss event. And thankfully, it doesn’t have to be – HPE created a way to ensure that the education continues beyond the event.
